3. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files stored on a user's device when visiting a website.
Cookies may be used to
- enable website functionality;
- improve user experience;
- remember preferences;
- analyse website usage;
- improve security;
- support fraud prevention;
- support marketing and advertising activities where consent has been provided.
Similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and device identifiers may also be used.
For simplicity, this Policy refers to all such technologies as "Cookies".
4. TYPES OF COOKIES USED
IPK may use the following categories of Cookies.

These Cookies are required for operation of the Platform.
They may support
- account login;
- authentication;
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- session management;
- auction functionality;
- bidder participation features.
Without these Cookies, parts of the Platform may not function correctly.
Because these Cookies are necessary for operation of the Platform, they generally do not require consent.

These Cookies help remember user preferences and improve the user experience.
Examples may include
- language preferences;
- user interface preferences;
- account-related settings.
Analytics Cookies
These Cookies help IPK understand how visitors interact with the Platform.
Analytics Cookies may collect information regarding:
- pages visited;
- time spent on pages;
- navigation behaviour;
- technical performance.
Analytics information is generally used in aggregated form to improve Platform performance and user experience.
Marketing Cookies
Marketing Cookies may be used to:
- measure advertising performance;
- understand marketing effectiveness;
- deliver relevant advertising content;
- support remarketing campaigns.
Marketing Cookies will only be used where the user has provided the required consent.
5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
IPK may utilise third-party services that place or access Cookies.
Examples may include
- analytics providers;
- advertising providers;
- payment service providers;
- identity verification providers;
- customer support tools;
- security providers.
The providers used by IPK may change from time to time.
Users should review the privacy and cookie information published by relevant third-party providers where applicable.
6. ANALYTICS SERVICES
IPK may use website analytics services to understand how the Platform is used and to improve performance.
Analytics services may collect information regarding:
- website traffic;
- visitor behaviour;
- technical performance;
- device information.
IPK uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, with measurement ID G-3S5HR4RCJJ. Subject to consent, Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, page and session timestamps, referring pages, interactions, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the IP address and technical performance data. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga and a measurement-specific _ga cookie to distinguish visits and sessions.
The Google tag is not loaded and no Google Analytics data is sent by IPK until the user accepts analytics and marketing Cookies. IPK configures Google advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation as denied, and disables Google signals and advertising-personalisation signals in this implementation. Users may withdraw consent at any time through Privacy choices in the Platform footer.
7. ADVERTISING AND MARKETING TECHNOLOGIES
IPK may use advertising and marketing technologies to understand the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and improve marketing activities.
IPK currently uses Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API for these purposes.
Where a user accepts marketing Cookies, IPK uses the Meta Pixel in the browser and Meta Conversions API on the server to measure PageView, ViewContent, Contact, Lead, Schedule and CompleteRegistration events. Depending on the event and the information available, Meta may receive the event time, event name, source URL, action source, event ID, IP address, browser user agent, Meta browser and click identifiers, and hashed versions of email address, telephone number or an IPK external identifier. IPK does not send contact messages, viewing notes, passwords, complete payment-card details, identity documents or bidding information through this integration.
These Meta technologies are used for advertising measurement, attribution and audience optimisation. A user can refuse or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings in the Platform footer. Refusal does not restrict access to the Platform. Withdrawal stops future Pixel and Conversions API events from that browser, without affecting processing already carried out on the basis of prior consent.
Marketing technologies will be subject to applicable consent requirements.
8. PLATFORM SECURITY
Certain Cookies may be used to support:
- authentication;
- fraud prevention;
- account security;
- session integrity;
- auction security.
These Cookies help protect users and maintain the integrity of the Platform.
9. PAYMENT AND VERIFICATION SERVICES
Where users access bidder activation features, third-party providers such as payment providers or identity verification providers may utilise Cookies or similar technologies in connection with:
- authentication;
- fraud prevention;
- security controls;
- verification procedures.
Such technologies may be governed by the policies of the relevant provider.
10. COOKIE CONSENT
Where required by law, users will be given the opportunity to:
- accept Cookies;
- reject non-essential Cookies;

Users may update Cookie preferences through the Platform's cookie management tools where available.
